Some afternoons can still feel surprisingly warm in the sunshine, while after sunset you'll be very happy to have a jumper or light jacket with you.

For anyone who enjoys yoga, walking, exploring and having a little more time to slow down, November has a lot going for it.

23°Caverage daytime high

14°Caverage nighttime temperature

23°Capprox. sea temperature

6average rainy days

Layersare your best friend

Greatfor walking & yoga

How Warm Is Paphos in November?

Average daytime highs in Paphos are around 23°C, while nighttime temperatures average around 14°C.

Of course, averages never tell the whole story.

On a sunny November afternoon, 23°C in Cyprus can feel beautifully warm. Sitting outside in a T-shirt is completely realistic, and there can also be days that climb above the monthly average.

Once the sun goes down, however, you notice the season much more.

Here in Peyia we're slightly elevated and often have a breeze, so evenings can feel considerably fresher. A cardigan, sweatshirt or light jacket is definitely useful.

November has a different feeling from the summer months, but that isn't necessarily a disadvantage. It simply becomes a different kind of Cyprus holiday.

Can You Swim in Paphos in November?

Yes – although this depends a little more on how sensitive you are to cooler water.

The Mediterranean around Paphos is still approximately 23°C in November, as the sea holds onto the heat accumulated throughout summer and early autumn.

Especially at the beginning of November, swimming can still be very pleasant on a warm and sunny day.

Later in the month, you may notice the difference more when you get out of the water, particularly if there's a breeze.

If your entire holiday revolves around long beach days and swimming every day, October is the safer choice.

But if you'd simply like the option of going for a swim alongside yoga, hiking, exploring and relaxing, November can still work very well.

Does It Rain a Lot in Paphos in November?

November is one of the months when rain becomes more likely again.

Paphos averages roughly six rainy days during November, so that certainly doesn't mean weeks of continuous grey weather.

You might have several beautifully sunny days in a row and then a shower or a more unsettled afternoon.

The weather can also change relatively quickly, which is why November works particularly well if you don't need to plan every hour of your holiday in advance.

If the sun is out, head outside and make the most of it. If a shower arrives, plans can simply become a little slower for a while.

November Is a Beautiful Time for Exploring

This is probably where November has one of its biggest advantages.

Walking and hiking become particularly love the coastline around the

EDRO III Shipwreck and Sea Caves
,
particularly later in the afternoon.

The softer light, fresher air and Mediterranean coastline suit November beautifully.

It's also the area where we sometimes take our rescue puppies for our Puppy Beach Walks around sunset.

Cyprus Is Quieter in November

Another thing we really like about November is that Cyprus feels noticeably calmer than during the main holiday season.

Popular beaches and coastal areas around Paphos tend to feel less busy, and the whole atmosphere becomes a little more relaxed.

That can make exploring particularly enjoyable.

You can walk along the coast, stop somewhere for lunch or simply sit by the sea without the feeling that every beautiful place is crowded.

For a yoga retreat, that quieter atmosphere fits especially well.

November gives you a little more room – both around you and in your head.

What Should You Pack for Paphos in November?

November is all about layers.

You can still use plenty of lighter clothes during the day, but I wouldn't come to Cyprus in November with only a summer wardrobe.

T-shirts and light tops

leggings or comfortable trousers

a pair of shorts

swimwear

yoga or you're planning to hike, shoes with decent grip are useful as well.

And particularly for evenings in Peyia, something warm enough to sit outside comfortably after sunset is worth bringing.

Is November a Good Time for a Yoga Retreat in Cyprus?

I think November suits a yoga retreat particularly well.

Morning yoga feels fresh, while cooler evenings are lovely for Yin, restorative yoga or meditation.

Between the morning and evening sessions, there's plenty of time to decide what kind of day you actually feel like having.

You can go hiking, explore the coast, visit Paphos, spend time with our rescue puppies or simply stay at the villa and relax.

And November naturally invites you to slow down a little more.

Bringing a good book certainly doesn't hurt.

It's also a lovely time for journaling, especially when you're away from your normal routine and suddenly have more space to think.

For some people, that quiet time becomes one of the most valuable parts of a retreat: a chance for a little self-reflection, to reset and to notice things that easily get lost in everyday life.

And if you happen to get a cooler or rainy afternoon, it doesn't necessarily feel as though you've lost a day of your holiday.

Sometimes having nowhere you need to be, a book beside you and a little time for yourself fits a retreat rather well.

<img decoding="async" alt="Yoga retreat in Paphos Cyprus during November" variation, but it's particularly pleasant for yoga, walking, hiking and exploring.

If swimming and spending lots of time beside the pool are among your main priorities, I'd choose October.

If you like the idea of mild sunshine, quieter surroundings, active days and escaping the darker November weather further north, November is a very good option.

If outside, walk beside the sea and even swim.

At the same time, evenings become fresher, the island feels quieter and outdoor activities become particularly enjoyable.

For me, that's the charm of Paphos in November.

It's a calmer side of Cyprus – mild, spacious and particularly well suited to days that combine yoga, nature, movement and a
