Puppy Yoga Retreat

Happy Endings - We thank you so much!

Our adoptions– Second Chances for life

All of our puppies were once unwanted – some even rescued from kill shelters.

With every adoption, they finally receive the love, security and future they deserve.

Here we share their happy endings – and say thank you to the people who opened their hearts and changed lives.

🐾 Balu – From a Shy New Beginning to Part of Our Family

First, we’d like to tell you about Balu: He arrived completely timid. At first, he wouldn’t let anyone touch him; he was afraid of almost everything. Our retreat was still being set up; the first puppies had already found their forever homes, as had the next foster dogs. We didn’t receive any inquiries for Balu – unfortunately, black dogs often have a harder time finding homes. Over time, he became more and more a part of our retreat and won the hearts of our visitors with his cuddly, playful nature. Eventually, it was clear: Balu belongs to us – to our family and to our retreat!

We hope for many, many wonderful years with him and together with Balu, we can accompany many more puppies on their journey to loving new homes. πŸ’›

🐾 Nala – a confident, playful girl full of character

Nala was found abandoned in a field together with her five siblings. It was a heartbreaking start to life, made even harder by the fact that several of the puppies, including Nala, had head injuries and needed extra care and attention. Despite this rough beginning, Nala showed a quiet strength from the very start.

Once she arrived in our foster home, Nala truly blossomed. She grew into a confident little lady β€” playful, full of character and impossible not to love. She loves a good cuddle. Her bright spirit and joyful energy won over every heart she met.

Nala has been adopted and went on to start her new life in Germany with a wonderful family who met her during one of our Puppy Beach Walks. It was love at first sight and she carried her sparkle straight into her forever home. πŸ’›

🐾 Bennie – a goofy, happy adventurer

We had the pleasure to foster Bennie, together with his siblings Lilly and Frankie.

Bennie was a playful, goofy dog with an open and curious heart. He moved through life with enthusiasm and confidence, always ready for fun and connection. His cheerful energy and natural openness made people smile instantly.

He loved cuddles just as much as he loved learning new things, approaching both with eagerness and joy. One of his favorite pastimes was running through high grass, completely in his element, carefree and full of life. He was a bit goofy; every meal ended in kibble flying around everywhere!

Bennie found his forever home in the United Kingdom, where his playful spirit and loving nature could truly flourish. It was a tough goodbye, but he left so many happy memories. πŸ’›

🐾 Lilly – our outgoing cuddle lover

Lilly was a sweet, playful dog with a wonderfully open heart. At first, she could be a little shy, taking a moment to observe her surroundings and feel safe. But it never took long for her true nature to shine through.

Once she opened up, Lilly showed her outgoing and cheerful personality. She loved playtime with her siblings, little adventures and cuddle moments. Her gentle enthusiasm made her a joy to be around.

This gorgeous girl found her forever home in Germany, where her loving, playful spirit could be fully embraced. She left behind beautiful memories and many smiling hearts. πŸ’›

🐾 Frankie – our shy and sensitive soul

Frankie was a sensitive, gentle dog who experienced the world quietly and at his own pace. He was shy by nature and needed time, patience, and a calm presence to feel safe. He didn’t rush toward people β€” instead, he carefully observed, learning who he could trust.

When Frankie felt secure, something truly special happened. Little by little, he opened up and chose closeness in his own way, coming nearer when trust had been earned.

Frankie has since been adopted and went on to start a new life in the United Kingdom, where he continues to blossom in a loving, understanding home. Β Seeing videos of our little Frankie playing with his new big brother and new humans warms up our hearts.

His journey was a beautiful reminder that with enough patience, love and understanding even the quietest souls can blossom into confident characters.πŸ’›

🐾 Mario – the most gentle and cuddly soul

Even though most of the dogs we have fostered so far, we’re young puppies. But not Mario. Mario was a three year old dog, who was in desperate need of a foster home. And with one look at his adorable face, of course we couldn’t say no. πŸ’›

Mario was an incredibly gentle soul, who really loved his cuddles. He would lay down on his back to let you know it is time for one! He loved his long walks, playing alongside with the other pups and curling up on the couch, especially surrounded by endless pillows.Β

It was hard to let Mario go, but he found his forever home in the United Kingdom, where you gets all the cuddles he needs! πŸ’›

🐾 Leia – our affectionate heartbreaker

Leia was born at the A.I.R.S. Foundation shelter, along with her five siblings. From the very beginning, she was an incredibly affectionate dog who charmed everyone she met (including us). Her cheerful and loving personality made her a truly special companion.

She grew into a beautiful dog and carried her gentle, loving nature with her every step of the way. Leia went on to enjoy life in her forever home, together with Mia in Munich, where her loyal heart and warm spirit is fully embraced and cherished. πŸ’›

🐾 Mia – our little ray of sunshine

Mia was a gentle, loving puppy with the softest eyes and the biggest heart. She was curious about the world, loved quiet cuddle moments and won over all our hearts with her friendly, balanced nature.

She enjoyed lying in the sun, exploring the garden with her puppy friends and being close to people. Mia was a little soul who naturally made you happy β€” calm, trusting and full of joy for life. We’re happy she found her forever home, together with Leia in Munich. πŸ’›

🐾 Mayessa – our little heartbreaker

Mayessa was an exceptionally people-oriented little dog: friendly, affectionate and full of love. She constantly sought human closeness, enjoyed every bit of attention and greeted everyone with an open heart and gentle eyes.

Her nature was calm, trusting and incredibly lovable. She loved being petted and gratefully cuddled up close. Mayessa brought warmth and comfort into every moment β€” a little soul who simply loved deeply and gave that love back endlessly. We’re happy that Mayessa found her forever home in Berlin, where she can spread all the love she has to give! Β πŸ’›

🐾 Marlo – our little explorer

Marlo was a lively, cheerful puppy who discovered the world with curious eyes. He loved to play, try new things and experience little adventures. Even at his young age he showed an impressive sense of independence.

Despite his active nature, Marlo was very affectionate and often sought the closeness of his humans β€” especially when it was time to cuddle after an exciting day. He was a smart, joyful little companion who made every day a bit brighter. It was tough to let him go, but we know he’s living a wonderful life in his forever home in the United Kingdom. πŸ’›

🐾 Nuki – our cheerful people lover

Nuki is a happy, playful puppy who won everyone’s heart with his open and friendly nature.
He loved activity, little adventures and especially being around people β€” he was happiest right in the middle of things.

Despite all his energy, Nuki was incredibly loving and often sought closeness and affection from his humans. He had a beautiful way of bringing joy without ever being pushy. He was a perfect little companion: active, loyal and wonderfully kind-hearted. He found his forever home in the United Kingdom. πŸ’›

🐾 Mompi – our calm gentleman

Mompi was a beautifully balanced and loving soul who won hearts instantly with his calm, gentle nature. He was very people-oriented, friendly with everyone and radiated a soothing sense of peace that made you feel at ease the moment he was near.

He loved lying in the sun, quietly observing the world around him and taking everything in at his own relaxed pace. When you called him, he happily came trotting over β€” always ready for a few soft cuddles.

Mompi has since been adopted and went on to enjoy life in his forever home in the United Kingdom, where his loyal heart and wonderfully harmonious spirit were truly cherished. πŸ’›

🐾 Bonnie – now a happy family member in Hamburg

Bonnie came from an unwanted litter and arrived with her siblings, Bailey and Winnie. We quickly fell in love with her at the retreat. In our little pack, she was the one who always brought peace and harmony.

Now “Mama Bonnie” has found her forever home in Hamburg – and her family loves her dearly.

We are so happy for our little ray of sunshine and wish her a long and happy life! πŸ’›

🐾 Lilo – Our tender soul, now safe and sound at home

Lilo is a sweet, loving little soul. Along with her siblings Oscar and Hope, she was abandoned one night in front of the A.I.R.S. Foundation shelter. Shortly after, Oscar and Lilo came to us at the Puppy Yoga Retreat; Hope thankfully found a wonderful home in Cyprus right away.

Lilo touched everyone’s hearts with her gentle nature. We will miss so much how she would often drift off to sleep in our arms. Letting her go wasn’t easy – but we know that Lilo, too, has now found a very, very loving home. πŸ’›

🐾 Oscar – Confident and full of life, now happily settled in DΓΌsseldorf

Oscar was one of the puppies who, along with his siblings, were abandoned in front of the A.I.R.S. Foundation shelter. He has a very unique personality – curious, open and very self-assured. At our retreat, we could watch him every day as he cooled off from the heat in the small paddling pool.
Β
Today, Oscar lives with a wonderful family in DΓΌsseldorf who are showing him the world, step by step. We are very proud of him and wish our water-loving friend all the very best for his future! πŸ’›

🐾 Billy – Our Heartbreaker, Now Loved in Cologne

Billy came to the shelter of the A.I.R.S. Foundation, together with his sister Peppina. His sister thankfully found a new family right away. Meanwhile, Billy won everyone’s hearts at our retreat – incredibly funny, loving, and full of charm.

Today, Billy is the new darling of a wonderful family in Cologne. If we didn’t know this, we would probably still be sad about his departure. But as it is, we are so happy about this happy ending – and wish Billy a long and happy life. πŸ’›

🐾 Bailey – Caring and Loving, Now in Her Home in Vienna

Bailey came to our Puppy Yoga Retreat along with her sisters Bonnie and Winnie, because they were from an unplanned litter. Bailey quickly charmed us with her warm and caring nature – towards the other dogs as well as us humans. In the evenings, she could hardly wait to go to bed – because that meant one more snack time! Bailey was a true champion at catching snacks and always made us smile.

We were overjoyed when two lovely guests from the retreat wrote to us saying they wanted to give Bailey a new home in Vienna. Sometimes the best dreams come true. We wish our little ray of sunshine a long and happy life – and say: Thank you for winning our hearts so quickly. πŸ’›

🐾 Winnie – gentle and cuddly, our first happy ending

Winnie came to us along with Bonnie and Bailey –even before we had officially opened our retreat. She immediately won our hearts with her gentle, cuddly nature.

By a stroke of luck, we found a loving family for her in Cyprus just a few days later. That made saying goodbye easier – but we still think of her often.

We are grateful that Winnie, of all dogs, was the first of hopefully many to find a wonderful, safe home. πŸ’›
